How we test

1. We buy what we review

We purchase the products we test at retail. We do not accept free samples in exchange for coverage.

2. Minimum two weeks of real use

Every product is used in a home environment for at least two weeks before we publish a review. Long-term picks are re-checked yearly.

3. Head-to-head comparison

Ratings are relative — we score against the alternatives in the same category, not against a marketing spec sheet.

4. Independence

Brands cannot pay for placement or edit our reviews. Affiliate partnerships do not influence rankings.
